What made you decide to start training at Bow Valley CrossFit?
I need a hip replacement, need to keep muscles strong and do not do the exercises on my own – so went for help.
What improvements have you made since you started training that you are most proud of?
I am moving better and I feel stronger, walking and standing straighter….hopefully not just in my mind!
Have you done anything at BVC that you would have thought you could not do before you started?
Liz made me do PULL-UPS, never did them before.
Do you have any advice for people looking to start a Personal Training journey?
Commit, start and it will work.
How has this training changed your life/lifestyle?
Not really, was always quite active, just does not let me wimp out because of the pain in my hip and back.
What activities do you participate in outside of the gym and do you think that your training has helped with those?
I usually like to walk, can’t do this right now so this training will help in the long run. Horseback riding, a strong core will definitely be beneficial.
What is one of your goals for 2019?
To have strong muscles so I will get over the hip operation faster/easier.
