What made you decide to try CrossFit?

I was looking for something to keep me active through the winter – and the location of the gym was ideally placed next to my work.

 

What improvements have you made in the past year that you are most proud of?

–I don’t think I have any…haha

 

Do you have any advice for people who are looking to try CrossFit?

Don’t be deterred by the name CrossFit, which has various images attached to it, just treat it like any other group-style cross training. It’s fun!

 

How has CrossFit changed your life/lifestyle?

I have a penchant for cardio – so it’s allowed me to incorporate strength training into my lifestyle, something I think a lot of people forget to do.

 

Tell us about any other activities you love to do outside of the gym.

In the winter: downhill and cross-country skiing, in the summer: hiking and biking!

 

If you created a WOD named after you….what movements would it consist of?

I like doing box jumps, clean and press, sit-ups, and banded pull ups. So maybe some combination of those!

 

What is one of your goals for your next year of CrossFit?

Someday I’d like to do a real pull up – not sure if it will be this year though.
